Currently working with HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES, a leading vendor in providing The Next Generation Telecommunications Network solutions. As a Wireless Product Manager in the UMTS/GSM Global Technical Sales Department, I am basically responsible for WCDMA/GSM solutions promotion and ensuring adquate technical communication with our Operators globally. Holds an Hon. First class Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Library Studies, Makerere Universiry, Kampala-Uganda and an Hons. First Class Masters' Degree in Computer Science and Technology, Hunan University,Changsha-PR. China.
Personal academic interests include: Information and communication Technologies and how they relate to Development; Technology Market Intelligence; Secure Computing systems: Social hobbies include: Debating; In-door sporting; Meeting and getting acquainted with strangers; Love meeting and staying with my family though have been away from them to ages,Other Research interests are in issues pertaining to Digital Divide; the big questions about IT sustainability in the developing world; and advanced research efforts in the area of computer and network security.
